"By fighting Urijah Faber, I have nothing to lose. There's so many things to gain from every aspect as a fighter... Urijah Faber is the face of the WEC and he's actually famous in Japan, and he's more famous in America. So I feel like I'm challenging the champion here... It's kind of hard to tell what kind of bantamweight fighter he's going to be on the day of the fight. Sure, he's a good fighter, but I've got to believe in myself and my striking. This is my favorite part of my game, [which] is better than him. So I've got to believe in my strength, otherwise I [won't] believe I'm going to win this fight."

-Takeya Mizugaki talks to MMAJunkie.com about his upcoming WEC 52 headlining fight with Urijah Faber and how the pressure is off him in the matchup.

Penick's Analysis: Mizugaki's right on here, all he's got to do is show up and perform as best he can. Faber's coming off a loss and taking his first fight in the bantamweight division in the WEC, and technically the last, but the interest is in Faber's bantamweight debut and fans will be tuning in for him. This is a big fight for Mizugaki, especially with the bantamweight division heading to the UFC, and if he can pull off the upset it will set him up very well for 2011.
