Bellator has confirmed the fifth participant in their upcoming season four featherweight tournament, as 14-3 Daniel Straus has been added to the field.

Straus enters the tournament on a ten fight win streak, including a decision win over Chad Hinton in Bellator's second season and a win over WEC vet Karen Darabedyan in his last bout in September.

"I like to fight at least once a month so this tournament format is perfect for me," said Straus. "If I'm not banged up or hurt, I like to keep training and turn around and get my next fight in. I like to stay as active as possible. I never like to slow down."

"My focus isn't on Joe Warren right now. My focus is on the first person I fight and putting a beating on him, and then it will be the second guy I fight and putting a beating on him. My biggest test isn't going to be Joe Warren, but getting to Joe Warren."

Said Bellator Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney, "Daniel was very impressive at Bellator 23 as a Lightweight and he's riding a great 10 fight win streak including some very solid wins, I'm excited to see what he can do at 145."

UFC NEWS: UFC returning to Philadelphia in August for UFC 133

The UFC is likely to return to Philadelphia this summer, according to a report from MMAFighting.com.

Per the report, the organization is targeting an August 6 date at the Wells Fargo, and UFC President Dana White confirmed the plans for the event.

The event would be the UFC's first card in Philadelphia since UFC 101 in August of 2009. That event featured the Lightweight Championship bout between B.J. Penn and Kenny Florian, as well as the light heavyweight bout between Anderson Silva and Forrest Griffin.

This card, tentatively slated to be UFC 133, will be the first of two pay-per-view events in August. At the end of the month, the organization returns to Brazil for UFC Rio on August 27.

Penick's Analysis: The UFC liked their last trip to Pennsylvania, and it marked a very successful pay-per-view event for the organization, so it makes sense that they'd return to the city when they had an open slot. There are still a lot of different locations they haven't hit, and a lot of them that would like the UFC to return for a second event, but Philadelphia's a big sports market and did well for them the first time around.

The Reason Rey Mysterio Is Handpicking Current Feud

It was reported Sunday that Rey Mysterio is working through an injury to his rotator cuff. He suffered the injury while working the SmackDown! brand’s most recent tour overseas. Doctors advised him not to fly due to an inner ear infection he was suffering from at the time but company officials asked him to work the tour anyway, assuring him that wouldn’t have to work any matches. However, he was asked to wrestle while on tour, and complied, only to suffer an injury to his rotator cuff. There was much ...
